Another year of great music for Rebirth and to close with a bang, we present our brand new installment of the Rebirth Essentials compilation, including our best releases of the last 12 months.
SoDPM (Israel Vich and Ramon Perez-Prieto) inspire us with 'Desierto', a slow, emotional and sensuous song, with astral grooves, traditional Afro-Peruvian sounds, a penetrating bassline, and live guitars from Coqui Tramontana.
One of the tracks of the year, 'Habanera' is the collaboration between Shield, Robytek and Katia Ricciarelli, the most loved and well-known Italian soprano in the world. An innovative, new version of the famous aria by Georges Bizet's Carmen, mixing opera with the electronica, remixed by The unique trio from Paris, dOP.
Supported by Bonobo 'Jump Over The Hill' by Paolo Mantini is another sublime piece of music, exploring rooted disco and funk, with a contemporary dancefloor swing, perfect to really get a party going. Dego and Kaidi aka 2000black produce a timeless remix with their unique futuristic beats and a mix of jazz, soul and electronic vibes.
One of the leading musicians in East Africa, now based in the United States, Samba Mapangala debuts on Rebirth with 'Matadi' remixed by Shield and Robytek who give the song an Italo infused dance floor bomb remix.
Nandu reworks 'How Long?' By Wallflower, building a great mix, with an intense atmosphere and great energy.
We are honored and excited to present 'The Vibe Inside' by the legend Billy Cobham in collaboration Novecento. A very strong combination remixed by Emanuel Satie.
'Vivid Poison' is a collaboration between Modular Project and the artist Eleonora Zaripova, remixed by Perel who adds her unique 90's synth pop sound.
The collection include salso unreleased music from Piano 7, Blue Mondays feat. Javonntte, Dj Rocca and Ernest & Frank.
