Gene Farris has been a mainstay on Toolroom in recent years and is a regular artist at our label events all over the World, including Miami in March where he was a very special guest at our WMC pool party. This track lands as an exciting collab with the Basura Boyz, a duo also hailing from Gene’s hometown of Chicago and the chemistry between the 3 of them is evident from the first beat!

They’ve just released a huge single on Repopulate Mars, ’Mentally In Miami’, that’s garnered mammoth DJ support from all corners of the Globe. ‘In My Heart’ is a super cool, stripped back vocal tech house track that sits in that sweet spot of club and specialist radio and it actually comes as the very first track off of Gene’s album ‘Euphoria’, to be released later in the year on his own Farris Wheel Recordings.
