DJ GIOVANNINO
Giovanni La Gorga aka GIOVANNINO bought his first professional console back in 1988.
Since then he was already working in the world of Club Culture as a promoter and then in the early 90s he moved behind the plates and mixers. He has touched the console of all the most important Capitoline clubs and even some national ones, also boasting some performances abroad such as the USA, Spain, England, Austria, Thailand, Indonesia and Brazil.
His passion for vinyl is indisputable even if he does not disdain digital support, some of his productions have ended up in the soundtracks of the films "AMATEMI" (Renato de Maria) "OUR BOYS" (Ivano Di Matteo)
His sets go from Rare Groove, to Funky Disco, arriving at the most modern Soulful House and Deep House sounds.
For 6 years he was the artistic director for the Live part of the historic Piper Club in Rome. He dedicates himself to evenings of pure House Music and is the founder of the ReBeL records (It) label which deals with House, Soulful House Deep House, Afro House releases and has recently founded a new label Sins Sound.
On 2 June 2018 he became the creator and DJ of the event that created a diversity in the world of clubbing worldwide "FROM MY HOUSE IN DA HOUSE" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oy-KIqWo7DQ where the dj set, for a peaceful protest, starts from a window of the house and pours music on the street, creating a real DANCE FLOOR...
From My House In Da House is repeated twice more from 2 important squares in Rome, the project has become a docu film he directed together with Alessio Borgonuovo who won the first prize at www.riff.it in the National Documentary section and also the soundtrack will be made entirely by DJ Giovannino together with the producer and composer Pietro Nicosia.
